Scholarships

The Governing Board of the School of Celtic Studies, at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, each year awards two or three research scholarships to doctoral or post-doctoral students. These scholarships are tenable from 1 October, and are renewable annually for up to three years.

The closing date for applications each year is 31 March.

Successful applicants are expected to be in regular attendance at the School, and to work on whatever project has been approved by the board.

The School of Celtic Studies is an eligible organisation for the IRCHSS funding schemes.
