18th cent. Paper. 23.5 × 18.5 cms. 258 pp. (numbered 3-258, with 2 unnumbered blank pages between 237 and 238) + 32 unnumbered blank pages at end. Scribe: John Mac Namara, 20 May 1754 (`Huic libro propium in usum imposuit Joannis Mc Nemara hac die vigessima Maii A.D. milessima septuagentessimo quinquagentessimo quarta,' p. 184). Written in an excellent hand with frequent use of finely-executed ornamental letters. The date `1758' occurs on p. 237 outer margin.

Bound in tooled calf with `115' and `13965' labelled on spine; `Lumley' inside front cover and `Lumley 53' on verso of second blank leaf; `13' on recto and `13965 Ph' on verso of first blank leaf and `Phillipps MS 13965' on verso of second. Listed under `Lumley, 1853' in Phillipps's Catalogus.
