Scribe: Eugene Curry, 1845 (see his signed note in English on f. 126; also his initials on ff. 81 v, 101v). Jottings in the manuscript include: `Lot 478' inside front cover; `See p. 28 where Hennessy's printed volume ends - i.e. to end of 1056', recto of front end-paper; `Here ends the printed part in 1st Vol. of Hennessy', p. 28. Formerly in the possession of W. M. Hennessy, editor of the Annals (Rolls Series), a note in whose handwriting appears on f. 171. Bound in half-leather with `Annals of Loch Cé' gilt- lettered on spine. Comyn ms 32.
