19th cent. Paper. 18 × 14 cms. 10 ff. A lacuna in the text `Clár na Gaoidheilge' (see below) shows 2 folios missing (following f. 6). Scribe: Seaghan Ó Muiláin, `a cCorca', 1814 (f. 7). The following jottings by a onetime owner occur in the manuscript: `Denis Murphy the same the', f. 1; `Denis Murphy', f. 3v; `Denis Murphy of Killmurphy old thack' (?), f. 6v; `Denis Murphy Cork', f. 7. The latter is probably responsible for repeating the scribal colophon on f. 7.

Bound in half-leather with a sheet of paper containing a brief description in English of the contents of the manuscript apsted (vertically) inside front cover. Joly ms 4.
