Another hand wrote `Priest Adornan' on p. 1 upper margin. `Presented by the Very REv. W.P. Carmody / Dean of Down. 1929' inside front cover.

8 The following: `Here is sett down ye year ye quarters, ye months, and how many days in each month, with ye numbers of ye days in ye whole year. also to know Easter for ever, the Golden number, the Epact for ever, likewise [sic] to know what time of the day or night the moon changes through the 12 months of the whole year for ever the dominical the 12 signes as they pass thorough [sic] a(...)us bodies, and all in perfect Irish which was never sett foorth [sic] in Irish before'.
