40 On the religion of the pagan Irish. Beg. The pagan Irish were strangers to any other idoltrous worship than what their Assyria ancestor handed down to them, viz. that of the sun, moon and stars.

42 On the relationship between the Greek goddesses and the Irish word `oighe'. Immediately followed by a short tract on Ogham beg. The Irish Antiquaries preserved this ogham as a piece of the greatest value in their Antiquities and ending (p. 47) with a paragraph on Runic. Followed by an English translation of `préach' and `ailli le ogh'.

48 `Of the Noun substantive.' Beg. Noun substantive are of to [sic] sorts, proper and common. Ends (p. 51) followed (p. 52) first by the phrase, `Doinean mor agus falc dearmair san gheimhreadh so' translated `heavy rain and intense frost in this winter' and then by a series of English-Irish glossaries including one of land measurements headed (p. 56) `Sean tómas talaimh an Eirinn' and `Antient dry Measures'. This is followed (p. 57) by an explanatory note on the manuscript feature `cionn fa eite' or `cor fa chasán' and (p. 59) a list of manuscript contractions. Ends p. 61.
