Verse

19th cent. Paper. 18.5 × 11 cms. 28 pp. consisting of fragments of a manuscript, with modern pencil numbering. Scribe: Stheaghan (mac Seumuis) Ua(dh) Cathaine (John Keane), `Duagh' [Co. Kerry], 1844; two unidentified hands wrote the items on p. 18 and another two the items in English on pp. 27, 28. `Michael Fitz Maurice / smith' (?) on pp. 12, 18.

Wrapped in cardboard with `Séamus Ó Casaide [Luimneach] Bealtaine 16, 1929' in pen and printed slip reading `Books and Pictures / of / Old Limerick / for sale and wanted / by / Glynn, 1 Pery Street' labelled inside front cover (similar label inside back cover). There is some misplacement of leaves, which is noted below. Ó Casaide ms 36.
