Late of 19th or early 20th cent. Ruled copybook (23 × 18 cms), covers now loose; 34 pp. with modern pencil pagination. Scribe unidentified. `Séamus Ó Casaide 5.4.1913' inside front cover and a slip bearing `E. Wilkinson / Law Stationery Stamp Retailer / 74 Dame St. Dublin' pasted inside back cover. Two newspaper cuttings from American (?) newspaper loosely inserted, one dated 1895, containing Irish verse in section headed `Our Gaelic Department' beg. As i bean na n-ór-fholt donn, mo ghrádhsa gan dóbhat. 6 stt., macaronic, the other, under similar heading, beg. Is mairg do shéanfhadh Éire go bráth. 13 stt. Ó Casaide ms 45.

The contents of this manuscript appear to have been transcribed from RIA 23 E 12, the scribe in some cases giving the page number of his exemplar.
