19th cent. (watermark 1810). Paper. 19.5 × 16 cms. 152 pp. ([i]-[ii] + scribal 1-139 continued in modern pencil to 150). In the hand of Pádraig Ó Néill, of Owning, Col. Kilkenny [identification communicated by Col. Eoghan Ó Néill, March 1985], also scribe of G 343, G 245, G 357-8 and G 367 above (hitherto unattributed) and G 402 below. Bound in half-leather with `Folcóir' gilt- lettered on spine. Ó Casaide ms 65.

The volume consists of a collection of disjointed phrases and sentences arranged roughly in alphabetical order of key words, the use and meaning which this material was apparently intended to illustrate. Marginal references in same script or cipher as in G 358 above. Several of the examples are apparently from literary sources, but some appear to have been newly composed. In roman script. Beg.
